Blockadillo is an arcade game that challenges players to smash colored blocks using a color-changing armadillo. Adding to the difficulty is the fact that the armadillo is constantly rolled up and bouncing autonomously, requiring players to only control its lateral movement in order to reach and smash the designated blocks to progress through each level.

Changing colors is a critical element in the gameplay strategy as the armadillo must match the color of the blocks it aims to destroy. This color transformation is facilitated by special blocks strategically placed throughout the levels. In addition to these mechanics, Blockadillo introduces a variety of other engaging elements within its levels, such as blocks that can only be manipulated with the corresponding color, intricate switches, ancient machinery, moving platforms, perilous traps, and expansive bubbling lava pits.

Blockadillo offers a free-to-play model, allowing players access to the initial world consisting of 40 thrilling levels without charge. Furthermore, an additional set of 40 levels in the second world can be unlocked through a single in-app purchase.
